]]> Directed by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache, this highly authentic and sincere movie exemplifies Renault’s commitment for the French economy. On screen are shown the collaborators involved faces, the ballet of the machine, the pride of the conquest, for one and for all.

Nevertheless, Renault sets the tone : “Our challenge isn’t space”. The brand’s future is local, tangible and exists on a human scale.

We chose to synchronise David Bowie’s timeless track, Space Oddity, that carries the movie’s movement. Finally, to remain in the film directors’ DNA, the precise and very cinematic sound design was conceived in the spirit of their feature movies.

The new “Hexagonal” brand campaign embodies and emphasizes the unique bond between the SNCF and the French people. For this campaign, we created an original track that intertwines Gaël Faye’s powerful and eloquent voice with the historic SNCF’s sound identity.

Through his poetic scansion, the artist proclaims with both pride and modesty the engagement and love that the SNCF and its workers have for the French people.

The music completes with a delicate strength this emotional movie, that mixes archive images and scenes from everyday live, as an homage to the past, present, and future of the SNCF.

Its popular, humble, and subtle tone is an ode to imperfection, to paradoxes but also to the French people’s heart and commitment.

Step into the new era !
In tune with its time, the lozenge, redesigned by Landor & Fitch, perfectly embodies the era of the “New Wave” that Renault entered. For the reveal movie, we produced a resolutely modern electro version of the iconic “Johnny and Mary”, that resonates with the new lozenge.
A feminine voice, doubled by a french-touch inspired vocoder complements the textured images as well as Renault’s new dynamic : a vibrant brand, in perpetual motion.
